Sell your course with a 1-page notion doc

I recently stumbled across a guy on X who was pre-selling a course for 80 bucks.

The sales page?

A Notion doc.

🤦 Without an outline.
🤦 Without bullet points.
🤦 Heck, without even a clear course title.

The weirdest part?

The guy still made sales (apparently).

The reason?

He's solving a painful problem.

Creating content is not about sharing your diary online.

It's about finding problems that hurt as much as a root canal...

And then solving them.

A few problems to chew on:

↳ Losing weight
↳ Saving money
↳ Gaining muscle
↳ Buying back time
↳ Making more dough
↳ Looking better naked
↳ Achieving more status
↳ Staying legal/compliant

Finding a problem that hurts is the first step.

Then, develop a unique methodology to stand out from everyone else in your niche.

Finding a good problem to solve makes everything 100 times easier down the road.

It'll help your content get more traction and ultimately make you more money.

If you're into weight loss, your audience doesn't want to get "their macros" right. They want to lose the stubborn weight that's making them feel insecure.

If you're into productivity, your audience doesn't want to "optimize their workflows." They want to stop feeling overwhelmed every single day.

If you're a chiropractor, your audience doesn't want a "perfect posture." They want to get rid of the constant back pain that's draining their energy.

Nothing matters if you get the problem wrong.

You could do everything else right:

• Writing emails

• Launching courses

• And God knows what else...

Solving the wrong problem will keep you stuck no matter how hard you try.

That's why finding a good problem worth solving is one of the first things I help my 1-1 coaching clients with.
